Iroquois Indian Museum Opens April 1st

Howes Cave, NY

The Iroquois Indian Museum will reopen on Thursday, April 1st after more than a year of closure.  Though there will be limited hours and public health precautions in place, the Museum is very excited to open! This is a great destination for area residents and visitors to the area. The Museum has planned a full schedule of mainly outdoor events every weekend in July and August with more to come in the fall season. Take advantage of the 45-acre Nature Park with its beautiful surroundings and learn about native plants from a Haudenosaunee perspective by the log houses at the entrance to the park that were transported to Howes Cave from Six Nations.  While the interactive exhibits in the Children's Museum are temporarily closed, individual activitiy packets for the children are to be offered.
