Among the available agrarian distractions, to find a corn maze near me has been an annual pursuit. Being inside a corn maze (not just one made from a generic hedge), is a feeling that is primal; it brings one close to food and Gaia.
The end of summer is cool weather, cool enough to enjoy the outdoors comfortably, And Fall means rich fall colors. And back to the bucolic, there’s apple picking near me and pumpkin picking near me and so much more that is never far away enough that I cannot make a tiny effort to indulge.
But most of all, is the childlike feeling of being confused inside one corn maze and then another, among the many that pop up across the state and last through Fall. If you are wondering, “where is the best corn maze near me?” here’s a list. If you’re the sort that cannot find her way out of a walk-in closet, a corn maze would be a nice challenge.
