Annual 4th of July Parade and Celebration- Speculator

Our annual 4th of July Parade & Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 30. The parade kicks off at 7:00 PM at the 4 Corners, going down Route 30 to the Ball Field and Pavilion area. Once again this year’s parade will feature many familiar participants including local organizations, floats, antique cars, and vehicles from local municipalities and businesses. The Mohawk Valley Frasers, Fyfes & Drumms of Olde Saratoga, and the Village Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps., are among some of the returning favorites for 2018. New entries this year include the Shriners’ Keystone Kops and the Pink Heals Tour with their pink fire truck. The theme for this year’s parade is “Adirondack Living.” Applications are available at the Chamber of Commerce.

This year the 4th of July celebration will again include live music, food, games, a car show and carnival amusements at the Ball Field and Pavilion area, starting around 5 PM.

Fireworks start around 9:30 PM from Osborne Point, and this year there is a raffle titled “Light Up the Sky 4th of July,” where the lucky winner will have the privilege of starting off the fireworks show this year! Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce, Timberline Café & Bakery, Mountain Market, The Inn at Speculator and CampStore. Tickets will also be available before the parade. For more information, please call the Chamber of Commerce at 518-548-4521.
