ARTalks Featuring Phyllis Gay Palmer & Morgan Bulkeley at Morton Library and Community House!

Curious to see and hear what your fellow artists have been up to in their studios? Not an artist but interested in how an artist works? Baffled by contemporary art and need some answers? The ARTISTalks series will be meeting every other month, second Fridays for a look into the studios and minds of some of the outstanding artists living and working in the Hudson River Valley.

Hosted and organized by Ruby Palmer, Rhinecliffian and artist, with introductions by Mary-Kay Lombino, Curator at the Frances Lehman Loeb Museum at Vassar College.

Morton Memorial Library and Community House Levi P. Morton (1824-1920) served as Vice President of the United States, Governor of New York, Congressman from New York City, and Ambassador to France. The building was erected by Anna L. and Levi P. Morton in memory of their daughter Lena for the use of the people of Rhinecliff. It was dedicated in 1908. The building he gave to the community is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places. Community events held frequently
