Bard College: The Montgomery Place Campus Hosts New Exhibition Historic Garden Tools of Montgomery Place
This July 1 through October 31, Bard College: The Montgomery Place Campus will host a new seasonal exhibition focusing on the antique garden implements used at Montgomery Place for vegetable gardening, landscaping, orchard care, and ornamental floral display.
The exhibition, “Historic Garden Tools of Montgomery Place,” is being presented by the Landscape and Arboretum Program at Bard, with special thanks to Claire Copley. It is free and open to the public and will be on display in the Greenhouse Tool Room on the Montomery Place Campus, which is open daily from sunrise to sunset, including its gardens, arboretum, and three miles of hiking trails with views of the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. Montgomery Place mansion tours take place Saturdays, through October 21, at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. No reservations are necessary; first come, first served. Pets are not allowed.
