Every spring, folk music enthusiasts head to the Brooklyn Folk Festival at St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn Heights for a unique music experience of awesome old-time string band music, folk, blues, bluegrass, traditional Irish and Balkan music, and much more! The festival will also feature workshops, square and swing dancing, jam sessions, film screenings, and the famous Banjo Toss contest! 3 days, 30 bands, workshops, film screenings, and the world famous banjo toss contest! This is an all ages event. All seating is General Admission. Children age 5 and under get in free! The 3-day festival includes 30 bands, vocal and instrumental workshops, a family-friendly square dance and swing dance, jam sessions, film screenings, the famous Banjo Toss contest and more! The Brooklyn Folk Festival will feature the best in old-time string-band music, folk, blues, song writers, jug band, bluegrass, traditional Irish and Balkan music, and much more!
