Plough and Allen Fine Arts – watch Todd create an oil painting of the bridge while Darlene displays her photographs of the arboretum. Brookside Studio – see Robin Zefers Clark demonstrate how to use colored pencils to create life-like drawings of animals. Heidi Jimerson – Spirit Art – chat with Heidi as she explains how she taps into the spirit world while peacefully creating art. Annie Widger – see Annie start with animal fleece and turn it into yarn with her spinning wheel; the yarn can then be woven into a lovely work of art. Cathy Lacey – Cathy will also start with animal fleece and, using a ‘needle felting’ technique, turn it into a work of art. Mary Kay Schreckengost – Mary Kay and her grandson Garrett will be in the gazebo strumming the guitar and singing; Mary Kay will also be creating and displaying her artistic creations using wool appliques. Flowers Off the Farm – Nicole will be making beautiful bouquets using flowers she grows on her local farm. Chris Stark – Chris will show you how she creates delightful pieces of art by painting on porcelain vases, plates, etc. Judy MacMillan – Judy will turn clay into a piece of art on her pottery wheel. Karen Grabowski – Karen’s specialty is watercolor painting. Pastels by Pat – Pat Kerl will demonstrate creating drawings/paintings using chalk pastels. Refreshments will be available on the Rotary Patio behind the Ellicottville Town Center building adjacent to the arboretum. Perennials from the Carolyn Lowe Herb Garden will be available for a small donation.
