Drop-In Family Art Workshops

Drop in to the Queens Museum every Sunday with the kids for some fun and free hands-on art activities. Each week explores a different form of creativity from bookmaking to clay figures and more, and the themes are often centered on the nearest holiday—such as one celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other change-makers. Children with special needs are welcome and can also be accommodated. For more information, visit queensmuseum.org.

The Queens Museum invites children 5-12 and their adult companions to explore different works on view each week through a variety of fun hands-on art making activities. Children with special needs welcome, adaptations available. No fee or advance registration required. Just show up and stay for as long as you like.

This week we will use clay to make shapes that can be taken home. This workshop is inspired by Queens Museum spring exhibiting artist, Alina Tenser, a Ukrainian born multi-disciplinary artist living and working in New York.

Location: Studio A (second floor)
