EEN is a memory play in that all of the playes written about by Rosemary Doyle have existed. It follows the journey of a college-age girl to Ireland to meet her maternal grandmother for the first time. During the play we learn of the secrets of four generations of women in this family and come to understand that you can never escape who you are and what you have decided to do.They make you who you are.
