One of Sophocles’ most successful dramas.

“Electra” directed by Professor Stefanie Sertich, is a tragedy by the ancient Greek playwright Sophocles. In the aftermath of the Trojan War, Electra and her brother Orestes revenge their mother Clytemnestra and step-father Aegisthus for the murder of their father Agamemnon. It is considered one of Sophocles’ most successful dramas. Director Sertich’s production is set in the 1990’s, war-torn Croatia, in memory of her Croatian family members and friends.
