They Built America: The Workers of the Erie Canal

Capital Repertory Theatre will be at the museum to perform a 1-hour play about the real men, women and children who built the Erie Canal! Igniting this momentous anniversary in New York State history, characters from history will come to life, including George Washington, Irish orphan Molly, physician Dr. Finch, and Italian mason Antonio. Recommended for grades 3 and up.
