Event Description

Get outside and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air together on this family friendly hike! Moderately paced and approximately 2 miles in length, this hike is perfect for beginners and families with young children. Under the guidance of Dave Black, you'll learn about hiking etiquette including “leave no trace” ethics and what it means to be a nature preserve. Meet at the Visitor's Center courtyard. Leashed dogs are welcome. In the event rain, the hike will be canceled; you will be notified via email at least 2 hours in advance. Cost: FREE! Registration required via Eventbrite. Maximum: 40 people. PLEASE NOTE: If you reserve tickets and cannot make it, please cancel your reservation through Eventbrite so the tickets may be made available to others who are wait-listed.
