Fat Bikes in Allegany State Park
Maybe you have seen them or heard them rolling along the trails. Fat bikes are off road bikes with big tires typically 3.8 in (97 mm) or wider. They are designed for low pressure to allow riding on soft, unstable terrain, such as snow, sand, bogs and mud. The Environmental Educational and Recreation Department will have a few available to demo during Fat Bike rides on select Mondays and Fridays throughout the winter.
Join us on Friday January 18, 2019 for our First Full Moon Fat Bike Ride. Meet at the Red House Administration Building at 6:00 PM. Ride starts at 6:30. Bring a light, warm clothes, and your sense of adventure. For more information call the Environmental Education Dept. at 716- 354-9101 ext 232
