GCSWCD is teaming up with the NY-NJ Trail Conference to lead a guided hike to Acra Point for Schoharie Watershed Month. The hike will start and end at the trailhead parking area at the end of Big Hollow Road. The group will walk up the Batavia Kill trail, stop at the lean-to and learn about a new shelter project, head onto the Escarpment Trail and continue up to Acra Point, which offers some amazing views out into the Hudson Valley as well as the Great Range (Blackhead Range). The group will stop for lunch on the summit and then take the red trail back down to the parking area.
