An expansive invitation to the artists working and responding to the theme of HEAD has produced a varied and stunning exhibit that shows the limitless imagination that is activated by a simple word with a complex meaning: HEAD.
The dynamic breadth and range of the different pieces in various media from painting to sculpture to mixed media show that even a seemingly innocuous word can produce an amazing array of work triggering a layered, loaded outpouring of expression in a grand, individual style. Come see the exhibition at The Gallery at The Factory LIC, 30-30 47th Ave, 11101. Experience one of LIC’s exciting new developments in an elegant remodel of a traditional N.Y. warehouse given a wonderful new life as a vital center when you visit The Gallery on the Ground Floor Lobby level.
The exhibition will be held just across the East River from Manhattan in Long Island City, Queens, at the LIC Arts Open Gallery at The Factory LIC. The management team at The Factory has generously donated this space to LIC Arts Open for hosting shows throughout the year, as well as providing additional gallery space for the annual LIC Arts Open festival.
