Hikyoga to Host First Annual New York State Yoga Festival at Letchworth State Park
Hikyoga, a Rochester-based company that offers
outdoor hiking and yoga fusion classes and branded athletic apparel, will be hosting the
first annual New York State Yoga Festival at Letchworth State Park on Saturday, June
9. The event will feature yoga sessions, shopping, workshops, food, and a live
performance by LA-based singer-songwriter Kevin Paris for ticketed attendees from
10:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Letchworth State Park, often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” will offer a
breathtaking backdrop for the day-long festival, with attendees participating in yoga,
hiking, and meditation sessions offered for all levels while surrounded by the park’s
natural waterfalls, gorges, and trails.
Classes will be led by certified instructors from the Syracuse, Buffalo, and Rochester
regions by the Humphrey Nature Center and Trail Side Lodge through 4:30 pm. When
not attending a session, participants can indulge in the offerings of Upstate New York
vendors and the feel-good music stylings of musical guest Kevin Paris, who has
performed worldwide using a groundbreaking intersection of yoga and music at over
1,500 shows and events. All attendees will walk away from the festival with giveaways
from Hikyoga and sponsors to commemorate the event.
Tickets to the festival can be purchased in standard or premium packages, with
premium tickets including a limited edition event tank top. Prices range from $15-$35
and vary in price depending on package.
Hikyoga is also offering the opportunity to purchase a vendor booth at the event
alongside pre-registered local entrepreneurs, artisans, and national brands including
Athleta and REI. Platinum and gold sponsorships are available via registration on the
website for fixed prices.
