If you are looking to improve your skills in watercolor, this workshop is there to help give you a chance to break new ground and find that special ingredient necessary for greater outcomes.
There will be special places to paint outdoors each day and along with this program, David presents demonstrations and constructive outlines to assist the group in their search for their individual goals. The studio is useful to assess the work each day where possible and outlines to help in improving the work is discussed.
Color, Composition, and Individuality is a big topic in this workshop. Working fresh, and exploring the freedom and spontaneity of the medium with its magical way of flowing on the paper is encouraged.
This workshop will improve your drawing skills. Working with a varied subject matter is encouraged. David's problem solving process paves the way to a better outcome with your paintings and understanding. Different techniques and styles are explored. The workshop is carried out in a harmonious and positive atmosphere.
David Taylor was born in Melbourne Australia in 1941. His early career began in etching and a 6 year apprenticeship at the North Melbourne printing school of graphic arts to colour etching assisted in his future career as an artist painter.
David's painting career expands many years of studying the art of watercolor painting and he has been involved in teaching his great love of this medium to painters both in Australia and overseas since the late sixties. He is involved in regularly tutoring for the Australian and International Artist magazine.
