LADAMA is a group of four women—virtuosic musicians, educators, and sisters in song, rhythm & spirit—Mafer Bandola (Venezuela), Lara Klaus (Brazil), Daniela Serna (Colombia), and Sara Lucas (United States). With rhythm and percussion driving dynamic original compositions sung in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, LADAMA reimages South American and Caribbean styles like cumbia, maracatu, onda nueva, and joropo. Blending Pan-American traditional music with soul, R&B, and pop, the group creates a sonic experience through which we can view our future as a world that communicates across continents and cultures with sound and story. Their recently released album hit #1 on both the iTunes & Amazon Latin charts.
