Beauty is Temporary | Temporary is Beautiful
Sand mandalas last for just a short time, but the images and messages cling to the emotions for years. Experience the beauty of this meditative art from Rochester, NY artist Katie Jo Suddaby. Each design is unique and impermanent. Once she is finished, the image is wiped away. The sand is “given back to nature” by putting it in a flowing body of water. Its blessings flow wherever the river reaches. Destruction Ceremony will be 1/2 hour before close on Sunday.
