Through a synthesizer that is connected to a live plant, Uhlmann-Bower translates the plant's electrical impulses via a programmed collection of auditory samples. The sound experience is specific, unusual and mind-opening.
After the live demo there will be an open Q/A where perspectives of Native American Physics, Plant Neurobiology and Deep Ecology concepts will be discussed, including some of the unintended experiences Marguerite has been witness to.
Often, engaging conversations arise that beg us to consider just what is going on and then what often follows, 'where do we go from here?'
Marguerite's presentation is $15 / Pre-registration is required.
