Strawberry Festival at Klyne Esopus Museum: The museum will hold its 47rd Annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday. Refreshments will be served under canopies in the pleasant setting of the museum side yard. A white elephant sale will take place in the rear yard. The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, old-fashioned potato salad, beverages and fresh strawberry desserts. Food will be served from noon until 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children ages 4 to 10. Children 3 and under are free. Dessert only, including beverage, is $7. The museum will be open during the festival. Guests are encouraged to view the new exhibit “Hunting and Fishing in Esopus,” featuring a collection on loan from the West Esopus Landowners Association. The museum opens for the season on June 5. Hours will be Fridays to Mondays from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free, donations are appreciated.
