Join us at the Delaware & Ulster Railroad station in Arkville and be ready for an apple inspired adventure that will kick off the 2017 Taste NY Craft Beverage Week which starts the following day, November 5th.
Riders will remain seated in their comfortable booths and chairs as some of our favorite local producers will come car by car, sharing information and tastings of some of the best Delaware County produced ciders and spirits.
Delight in tastings of local cheese and chartuertie as we enjoy the journey.
On our voyage toward to Roxbury from Arkville, the train will stop in Halcottsville where we will disembark for a brief excursion to Hubbell Family Farm Cider Mill where visitors will see apple pressing in action.*
The train will then go on to Roxbury where you will enjoy the discussions, demonstrations and tastings of beverage and food until you return to the Arkville Station.
* Please note that it is a short walk from the train to the mill with some uneven surfaces on the way. If you are more comfortable, you are welcome to stay on the train while the group walks to the mill.
