Tempest Trio – Alon Goldstein, piano; Ilya Kaler, violin; Amit Peled, cello

The Tempest Trio has performed in cities throughout the US, Europe, Israel and Asia, and is applauded for its unique and exotic programs of trios, ranging from the standard repertoire of Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms and Dvořák, to newly commissioned pieces. Their repertoire also includes lesser known compositions by Bernstein, Bloch and Amy Beach. Combining technical mastery and expressive depth, pianist Alon Goldstein, Ilya Kaler and Amit Peled form one of the most exciting trios on the international scene. The Trio was recently Ensemble in Residence at the Heifetz International Music Festival, as well as at the Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival. The members of the Tempest Trio take pride in sharing their joy in music making through intensive educational residencies, masterclasses and lectures, which they offer at prominent universities and summer festivals each season.
