Because New York City is far away from being anything like Neverland, the imaginary faraway place where Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and other mythical creatures and beings lived. Head to BAM in Fort Greene for an original production, The Peter Pan Experience, by Het Laagland for a night where all the joys of childhood come flooding back.
Everyone knows you never grow up in Neverland—but what happens if you’re grown up already? Plucked from their busy jobs, five adult strangers find themselves in a world of nightstands and night lights, a world where your favorite forgotten toys appear out of nowhere, your favorite music thrills you to dance, and all the joys of childhood come flooding back thanks to the invisible magic of Peter Pan. Dutch children’s theater company Het Laagland presents this formally innovative, effortlessly thrilling piece of physical theater about rediscovering the joys of play, shaking off the shackles of adulthood, and flying high with the king of make-believe.
Show timings at 2pm and 7pm.
