The Finger Lakes region is famous for its many wine tours; take any one and you will get to sample some of the best wines in the world. Wine Tours Across The Finger Lakes is what the region is famous for. Be one of the many oenophiles and mere connoisseurs that make a point of pursuing a taste of the grape. The region (known for its spectacular wine trails, fishing, swimming , hiking and sightseeing) is unique for its three wine trails. And events that include unique food festival events throughout the year. Events are themed around the barbecue, chocolate, cheese, harvest, and holiday. Anytime is good to visit this upstate New York state region. Of course, the warm weather months are welcoming and Autumn when leaves just start to fall, forming a nice carpet on the floor. The Finger Lakes are so called because the lakes in the region assume the shape of the five fingers of the hand.

Harris Hill Soaring Center Be part of the world’s Soaring Hall of fame by taking motorles flights as you fly over the Expansive sceneries across the finger lakes region.

Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park Visit this 50 acre themed gardens surrounding a 40 room mansion that explains an architectural marvel perfect for photo sessions and events such weddings etc.

Other Things to Do In The Finger Lakes

If you looking for outdoor fun such as swimming, hiking, and camping Buttermilk falls and Watkins are the best location for that. A boat and fishing expeditions are more enjoyable on Lake Owasco and the big Lake Ontario.
